At Post Mockup Generator, your privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundation of our architecture. We do not collect, upload, store, or monetize your images, text, or personal data.

The Short Version: Everything you do in Post Mockup Generator happens entirely on your own computer or mobile phone. Your images and text are never sent across the internet to any server. We have no user accounts, no tracking cookies, and no database.

1. 100% Client-Side Processing

Unlike traditional web services that upload media to remote cloud storage or processing backends, Post Mockup Generator executes 100% locally in your web browser:

  • Text & Content: The names, handles, post copy, timestamps, and engagement numbers you enter remain strictly inside your browser's memory.
  • Uploaded Media: When you select an avatar picture or tweet attachment, it is processed via the standard HTML5 FileReader API into local base64/data URLs in memory.
  • Image Exporting: When you click "Download PNG" or "Copy to Clipboard", the image is rendered onto a local HTML5 Canvas via html2canvas and saved directly to your device's download folder.

Because no content ever reaches a server, we could not inspect, read, or sell your drafts even if we wanted to.

2. Browser LocalStorage Usage

We use your browser's native localStorage mechanism solely to improve your user experience across page reloads:

  • Saving your chosen interface theme (Dark mode vs. Light mode).
  • Saving your last selected platform (X/Twitter vs. Instagram) and chosen template.
  • Preserving your active draft values so refreshing the page does not erase your work.

This data is stored exclusively on your device. You can immediately wipe all stored data at any time by clicking the "Reset All" button in the editor panel or by clearing your browser cache.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Post Mockup Generator does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or behavioral targeting:

  • No advertising network cookies.
  • No session tracking across websites.
  • No fingerprinting scripts or intrusive user telemetry.

4. Third-Party Assets & Infrastructure

To deliver fast performance and clean typography, our static site utilizes:

  • Google Fonts: We link to the Google Fonts CDN for the Inter font family. Google may collect standard technical requests (such as your browser user agent and IP address) as outlined in Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Static Hosting CDN: Our web pages are served via static web hosting networks for rapid global delivery. Standard server access logs (recording IP address, timestamp, and HTTP status codes) may be collected for security and denial-of-service prevention.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Alignment)

Under major data protection regulations such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users possess rights regarding the access, rectification, portability, and erasure of their personal data.

Because Post Mockup Generator does not collect, log, or store your personal information on our systems, there is no personal data for us to retrieve, modify, or delete. Your data remains in your control at all times on your local device.

6. Children's Privacy

Post Mockup Generator is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If we introduce new features or modify our architectural approach, we will update this document along with the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page.
